About
Biography
When Ray Rodriguez joined Sands Anderson in 2017, he brought years of experience working with healthcare clients on medical cases and vaccination injury lawsuits. He represents both medical practitioners navigating lawsuits, and individuals who have developed vaccine injuries. His goal is to help each client resolve their case through risk and defense management. By genuinely caring for his clients’ well-being, Ray helps each person look forward, stay on track, and come out ahead.
Prior to becoming an attorney in 2002, Ray was a medical practitioner and served as a primary care physician. His medical career provides him with invaluable first-hand perspectives on medical topics, such as diseases, injuries, and vaccinations, as well as an understanding of many of the challenges that practitioners often face. His past as a doctor enables him to thoughtfully understand and support individuals and families experiencing vaccination injuries while remaining empathetic for the doctors and healthcare facilities involved. By applying medical and legal analysis to each case, he can thoroughly guide his clients toward success.
Ray was inspired to become a vaccine injury attorney after realizing how complicated the process of filing a vaccine injury claim was for many people. Today, he works to guide his clients to success while educating them about vaccine injuries and the programs available to assist them. Ray is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians, and he is licensed to practice medicine in Arkansas, Florida, Virginia, and the Republic of Ireland. He also previously served as a partner and board member of a large primary care physician group in Hillsborough, County Florida. In addition to being an accomplished attorney and primary care physician, Ray is also a respected speaker and author who regularly shares his insights at events and in publications across the country.
As a primary care physician, Ray understands the importance of routine administration of vaccines to children and adults in controlling the spread of many communicable diseases. Yet, Ray also recognizes that not everyone responds to vaccines the same way, and adverse reactions can and do occur in susceptible individuals.
